The OPKUD-01/100 short type ISA board is an advanced card converting PC computer into the digital oscilloscope. Together with the separate pulser/receiver unit OPGUD-01 it can be used as a sophisticated ultrasonic testing unit perfect for the variety of manual and automatic ultrasonic exams. This card can interface with the scanning devices or multiplex systems used in the automatic examination. The OPKUD card provides excellent accuracy and performance and can be installed in any standard PC computer.

The OPKUD card is suitable for the variety of manual and automatic ultrasonic testing applications (flaw detection, precision thickness measurements, TOFD etc.). It can be operated with the automatic scanning hardware systems or multiplexed channels units (the OPKUD card through its indexing control is fully capable of integrating such devices). It can work in pulse-echo mode (with one transducer sending and receiving) and with two transducers (transmit mode, TOFD etc.). Included software is Windows 9x, NT compatible. The device can also work as standard digital oscilloscope. The OPKUD card can be equipped with the range of the customized transducers.

Pulser: 8 steps voltage adjustable broadband pulser, from 50V to 300V, the voltage depends on the used transducer, 20ns falling time, a separate match box size unit

Software Package:

The software included in the package offers:

Two windows: RF signal in the main window, in the second window the option of zoom, FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation), rectified and filtered signal;
Software amplification, filtering and averaging;
Build in DAC and TCG curves;
Three signal memories, each signal can be stored and compared with any other signal.

As an option it is possible to make a different software versions to suit the specific requirements of the user.

Card Characteristics:

It can work in two modes:
Automatic: The measurement is controlled with the software and the sync_out signal triggers the measured unit (scan A and B).
Classical oscilloscope: measurement is controlled by the external trigger signal.
