OPBOX Ultrasonic Testing Unit Key Benefits

Self-contained design connectable to any PC computer
Indexing (encoder) controls capability
Internal battery or AC power supply
Extensive software with the Lab Windows platform

The OPBOX device, in a form of box of the size of the notebook computer, contains ultrasonic testing card, pulser&receiver and computer interface. It has a separate power supply with own battery and may be connected to any computer through a standard Centronics interface. The unique design of OPBOX unit and its full interchangeability with each and every PC computer systems makes it perfect for any specialized field and lab ultrasonic applications as well as for educational, research and training purposes.

This innovative device is suitable for the variety of manual and automatic ultrasonic testing applications (flaw detection, precision thickness measurements, TOFD etc.). It can be even operated with any automatic scanning hardware systems or multiplexed channels units (the OPBOX through its indexing control is fully capable of integrating such devices). It can work in pulse-echo mode (with one transducer sending and receiving) and with two transducers (transmit mode, TOFD etc.). Included software is Windows 9x, NT compatible. The device can also work as standard digital oscilloscope. The OPBOX unit can be equipped with the range of the customized transducers.
