MD-120 Wire Rope Test Recorder Key Benefits
The MD- 120 Wire Rope Defectograph is an advanced instrument for the wire rope defects recording, processing and evaluation purpose. This unit is designed to work with Merasters GP and GM series testing heads. The GP series Heads covers the range of wire ropes from 8 to 85 mm (5/16" to 3-3/8) in diameter. The GM Heads are the newer designed light-weight heads covering rope diameter from 10 to 90 mm. Please click the buttons for the particular head description at the bottom of this page. Others, special design, testing heads (such as: for very large diameter wire ropes, salt water environment adapted) could be also available. The MD-120 Recorder unit is equipped with the 4 channels capable of detecting and localizing defects encountered in any ferromagnetic steel wire ropes. This unit offers such advanced features which are not readily available on the similar instruments produced by other manufacturers thanks to its microprocessor based technology and computer interface option. The MD-120 Defectograph set includes charger/AC adapter all built-in the aluminum carrying case.
